Description
Tri-tip is a flavorful cut that performs beautifully when cooked using Air Fry Mode in an oven. I used the Whirlpool® Smart Range for this recipe, which serves 8 to 10 people making it great for a game day feast. The 5 hours of total time includes 4 hours while the steak soaks in the flavors of the marinade/rub before cooking.

- 8 lb. tri-tip steak (5 to 8 pounds)
- 1 stick unsalted butter (softened)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. prepared horseradish (heaping tablespoon)
- 2 Tbsp. stone ground mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. fresh thyme (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. fresh rosemary (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. smoked paprika
- kosher salt
- ground black pepper

Directions
- Combine softened butter in a bowl with all ingredients, excluding salt and pepper.
- Mix until completely combined. Rub mixture over the tri-tip beef. Be sure the mixture is spread evenly. Season liberally with salt and pepper on all sides.
- Marinate for four hours or overnight for best results.
