Amazing! I used a mix of Granny Smith, Jonagold, and Golden Delicious apples. Easily the most flavorful apple crisp I've ever had. YUM!!!

Made it to bring to Christmas dinner at the in laws. We all enjoyed it so much! Pairs well with vanilla ice cream. Tastes the best heated up! 😋 Would make again!

This is the perfect dish to serve warm out of the oven with ice cream and caramel sauce!! All other Apple crisp recipes are unnecessary.

Not as sweet as I wanted it to, but it’s probably for the better

Soo good! My husband and kids approved. I added 1/2 stick of chunked up cold butter and cut it into the crumble topping. I used 10 medium size apples but after spreading it across the 9x13 pan the layer of apples seemed thinner than the topping. It was still great but next time I’d probably add maybe 5 or so more apples to make the apple layer a little thicker.

This apple crisp is insanely delicious! I decided to halve the recipe like some other folks did. I clearly did not read the directions correctly and got five apples instead of five cups of apples to halve the recipe. It didn't matter. It was still the best crisp I've ever had. My go to blend of apples for apple dishes is a combination of Fuji, Pink Lady and Granny Smith. It's an amazing blend of sweet and tart. This recipe is an all-time keeper!

Amazing recipe! Instead of straight nutmeg I divided the 1/2 teaspoon between nutmeg and allspice. I also would have liked to have added an extra 1/2 or full stick of butter for the crisp part ontop it was a little dry by itself.

I made 1/2 a recipe in an 8x8 casserole dish. So delicious! Took the full 45 minutes to cook.

This was perfection! I made this recipe and split it between two 8x8 pans. Our family wanted some but I also wanted to bring one to an event. It worked out great! This will be my go to recipe for apple crisp from now on.

Absolutely delicious! I put it under the grill to make sure the top was crispy once I knew the apples were done. Will definitely make again

I love this recipe…lots of apples! The apples are tart and the topping is sweet and flavorful. So good with a scoop of ice cream or some freshly whipped cream😊

This was great! Definitely will make again.

This was pretty good, I always toss my apples in some pumpkin pie season, white sugar and a lunch box sized Motts apple sauce. (I don’t like my apples firm) so this was perfect apple to topping ratio for us :) will make again

Am I missing something? I clicked on "read directions" (several times, to make sure) and it took me to a different apple crisp recipe on addapinch.com with different ratios, an endless prequel, and recipes for other unrelated things popping up on the screen constantly. Does anybody even read the reams of descriptive text and stories and photo after photo that accompany some recipe sites these days? Anyway, I used the ingredients from here and the directions from there and there was nothing crisp about it. Very dry and too sweet. I'm not a novice baker, just an irritated one.

Good, but would prefer more defined crisp/crust
