so good. yes, restaurant worthy.

Amazing 🥧
Some of the measurements were tweaked to fit a double serving for Christmas. However the recipe was followed as a guide for measurements. I also underestimated the number of apples need (was baking the equivalent of 4 pies at once) and so I improvised and added bananas in the filling.
It came out great!
Really tasty and awesome recipe.

Delicious! Made it for my Dad's birthday and served it à la mode with a homemade cinnamon sauce on top and it was perfect. Everyone raved about it and it seriously tasted like it came from a 5 star restaurant!

This is the best apple pie so far, the crust, the topping, all is very balanced, and i especially like the crust, its moist and chewy.

This is an easy recipe. I have several apple trees and I have been making pies and sharing with friends. Everyone loves them!

So delicious!
Button crest was flakey, we used Fuji apples.
Top crust was so crispy. I used foil over the top during the last 20 minutes of cooking time.
We’ll definitely make it again!

The buttery crumb top is super delicious! Personaly like this better than traditional version.

The whole thing was delicious: bottom, filling and crust. The only problem I encountered was the filling being a little too liquid but it did not affect the taste so 👌

so far okay, haven't eaten yet

Fabulous. I can’t make pie crust very well so this was very easy and delicious.

This apple pie right here is like WOW! It will make you break whatever diet you are on. I used a Pillsbury store bought bottom crust, made the filling as directed as well as the apple crumb top crust. At first I thought that the filling would be just meh with only 3 ingredients. I was like, what no vanilla extract, no lemon juice, no brown sugar? Well, I have been corrected, less is more; that filling was delish. But, the top crust is dynamite! This pie was easy to make, easy to bake, joyful to eat. Make it!
Since this review, I have made this pie at least 4 more times. Instead of making an entire pie I have begun to prepare in ramekins and freeze them so that we can have them on demand as well as not having the pressure to eat an entire pie. They freeze extremely well, bake well, and the taste was not compromised at all. If you decide to make and freeze be sure to let your ramekin sit out for a bit before popping it into a 400 degree oven.

Very delicious! The crumb didn’t work out for me so I added more flour and just made strips of dough to put on top.

It was excellent, great crunch on the crust. Timing is perfect just wish I added a bit more filling.

Excellent and Easy! Thank you for sharing a recipe that didn't have a lot of crazy ingredients. Just good ol' every day stuff. It is my new "go to" apple pie recipe.

I LOVE this recipe! And it works well with any fruit you want to use. I’ve used apples, peaches, and strawberries on all separate occasions and this recipe has never failed to impress! My family loves it and all of my friends I’ve shared it with love it!
If you are using a softer fruit, you can reduce the cooking time about 15 mins.

The crust was flakey but the pie was very good

The crust at the bottom was a bit dense, I will try adding some baking powder next time, but all in all easy and top notch

The toppings were a bit doughy and liquidy but overall I had a party of 18 and Everyone loved the apple part cutting it into chunks really helped. I would change the toppings recipe to 1 cup of water, 2/3 cup of granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup of butter or just one stick of butter. But overall I would give a ok but with my crumb recipe It would be a 100 out of 5 stars because that’s how good it is

Very good recipe apart from the crust, it was way to crumbly to form a dough or even open out, added a bit more milk and water in very tiny amounts until I got the right consistency. The end result was very satisfying.

This was delicious and I’ll make it again! Just the right amount of juiciness and sweetness! I cheated and bought frozen pie crusts (I used the other one to make a salmon quiche) and I substituted brown sugar for regular sugar in the topping.

I added a little more cinnamon and about a tablespoon of brown sugar to it and it tasted very good
