I used hoisin sauce and chilli oil instead of the sugar and chilli powder and it turned out great.

I was worried that the amount of spices and brown sugar would be too much but it actually turned out the opposite. Had to eat them with some hickory brown sugar bbq sauce. Despite that, they were pretty cheap and easy to make so that's always a bonus.

These are amazing! I used the oven at 350 for 30 minutes and then under the broiler for 5.

This is a great recipe!! I cooked it in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes uncovered in aluminum pan and broiled for 3 minutes on each side. Chicken is tender and bacon is crisp. Husband and three kids ALL love it!

I cooked this in the oven because I don’t have a smoker (yet!). They turned out perfect. I put them in a glass baking dish, covered them with foil, and baked at 350 for 30-35 mins. After that I transferred them to a foil lined cookie sheet and put them under the broiler for about 5 mins at 500 degrees. Will definitely be making this again!

FABULOUS! We're doing the Whole 30 so I left off the brown sugar but these are ADDICTIVE!
