Needs a longer cook time

It was really good I added garlic, onion and peppers and tossed some shredded cheddar cheese on for the last five minutes. My husband and I both really enjoyed it!

I have actually made this five or six times at this point. I have made some adjustments- thinner slices, thyme, salt, and pepper in the bag with the olive oil to toss the squash before placing in the baking dish, and setting the oven at 375*. There are never any leftovers and my grandson had four servings last time. Big hit!

It was… edible. Granted, this was my first go at a squash dish and it may have been my fault. But I just didn’t enjoy this very much, very gummy

Feel like this recipe calls for alot of salt between the parmesean and bread crumbs, but the taste was good. Mine took a bit longer to cook so I will need to cut thinner slices next time. Would make again.

Definitely make again!

Very, very bland next time I’ll add more seasoning

This was absolutely delicious and so easy÷

So delicious. I used seasoned Panko in place of breadcrumbs

I liked squash but this honestly lacked flavor and we could of done without the breadcrumbs. I put it in the skillet and fried it a little before serving.

Yummy! I had some squashes that needed to be used and found this recipe. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Easy to make, great flavor I used Italian breadcrumbs instead, hubby liked it, so I will definitely make it again

Yummy! I almost ate the entire dish myself 😱

This was Yummy! I made it in personal size casseroles (a little bigger than a ramekin) and added chives, halved cherry tomatoes and crushed red pepper for a little added zip!

I have made this dish several times and is my go to side dish in summer.
I use Progresso Italian seasoned bread crumbs.
Always a crowd pleaser!

Was wonderful, the family enjoyed this dish. As others have pointed out the cooking time needs to be increased by 30 mins.

yummy - would make it again

This came out great! I also put an onion and a clove of garlic in. I will definitely make again.

so delicious I forgot to share!!

delicious, but I think I used too much squash

Awful. Had to cook longer and still crunchy. Very bland! Needs some other seasonings. Will not make it again!

My family loved this and we are excited to try this with other fresh garden vegetables also 💕

What to do with the olive oil was not spelled out in the recipe. I tossed the sqash in it. I loved the results!
I have a mandoline so slicing uniformly is a snap!

It was pretty good. flavor was nice but a little soft.

Let’s just say mine didn’t turn out like the picture. The bottom of each slice was soggy and the tops were perfect and slightly crisp, so that was a strange sensation in the mouth. I will try and make it again to work out the kinks

I love squish so it was a hit with my family. Let it sit in EVOO wit rosemary and thime. Crumbled in some bacon for an extra kick of flavor
Yummly User 6 years ago
good crunch but not a lot of flavor. mine wasn't bubbling but maybe didn't add enough oil?

This dish is a fan favorite in our house - winter, spring, summer and fall.
