Love this recipe! It WAS delicious and the bread was gone before I had the pleasure of enjoying a warm slice. However, I did have a small pinch off of a slice and it was really good + really easy to make. Will continue using this recipe. Thank you all. Good comments, especially the one regarding the foil tent. I agree and will do so this time!!

Very delicious and moist. The recipe that’s converted from the original European one is a little off. Adding chopped walnuts makes it better

Was soft and delicious but i put half the sugar recommended coz I didn’t want it too sweet. Will definitely make it again

second time I made this , it always turns me great

The best. I add some chocolate chips to it and put less sugar since it’s sweet enough because of bananas. Already made it hundred times

I left it in the oven for another 15 min after the hour and it turned out perfect.

This is my new favorite banana bread recipe! Everyone loved it. I used plain yogurt instead of buttermilk as suggested and added some chocolate chips. I could see this recipe holding up well to customization and I think I’d love to try it with applesauce to reduce the amount of butter

So tasty! I added cinnamon and baked in cupcake cases for 30-40 min. If you are using cupcake cases this recipe makes 12 😊

Turned out great. Definitely should mention that this type of doughy bread needs to be tented with foil midway through baking. If not, it'll be mushy on the inside and seem uncooked. I also baked it for 70 minutes instead of an hour.

After 1.5 hours in the oven, it looked like not baked... maybe it was my oven, maybe not.

Made four mini loaves, substituted caster for granulated sugar and used non fat milk with apple cider vinegar instead of buttermilk. Used what was on hand. Cooked the mini loaves for 45 mins. Family enjoyed and have had requests for more. Will make again soon!

Gorgeous. Was a bit dubious at an hour cooking and did lower it in the oven, no better test than a 7-year old saying it was the best

Excellent! I used two packs of vanilla sugar instead of vanilla and reduced the sugar.

Delicious! but needed to almost double recipe to fill my 4 small loaf pans

As always very tasty, depending on banana size, you only need to use 3 large ones, best use very over ripe ones for more of a banana flavour
