- 1 cup beef (consumme or beef broth)
- 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/3 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 4 Tbsp. sauce (from the crockpot after dish is cooked)
- frozen broccoli florets (as many as desired, I believe I used almost 2 cups)
- white rice (cooked)

Be careful not to over cook the beef! It will start to dry and shred if you do.

turned out great! i mixed prime rib chunks into the roast chunks and it gave sone different textures. i personally would add something to make it a little spicier but yhat is only personal preference. i would definitely make this again!

I LOVE tomato beef broccoli, so I think I would add 2 large tomatoes,cut into bite size peices, to the crockpot when you are adding the slurry.

I made this for the first time tonight. I used less garlic and did not have sesame oil, and it was very delicious. I will make this a regular.
