Very tasty made it just as the recipe called for. My young kiddo gave it two thumbs up. Will be making this recipe again for sure!

The rub is fantastic. We saved some juice to pour over the pulled pork to keep it moist. Used Sweet Baby Ray’s chipotle. Served with coleslaw and slider rolls. I’m thinking to use the leftover broth some how. Maybe bean and collards? No to the leftover broth… too salty

I deboned the pork as others suggested. Mine was about 8 lbs after this. The browning on high mode did cause some burning. Have to be careful. I had too much meat so i did some on the stove too. The flavor was really good. I would make this again without changing anything.

I made this tonight with a bone-in pork butt just under 7lb. By the time I deboned it and trimmed the fat, I'm sure it was close to 4 or 5lb. The rub was the perfect amount and it all turned out perfectly. I did let it naturally release for 25 min just to give it a little extra time, but it was perfect. The whole family loved it! My husband and I actually prefer this over the slow cooker! We've made slow cooker pulled pork for years, but this was a game-changer! No more cooking for 10 hours and salivating all day for the finished product. Who knew you could get better results in about 2 hours?! This will be our new go-to method! Thanks for the recipe!

I started with a 5.37 lb roast. Once deboned and extra fat removed, it was right about 4 lbs. Followed directions except substituted 1 tsp salt with 1 tsp Tony’s Cajun Seasoning. Served with juices only, with BBQ sauce on the side. My husband loved it.

I’ve made this 4 or 5 times now, and it always is fantastic. I always make extra so we can freeze some. This last time I used an 8 lb butt with bone. Since it was so big I opted to prep as called for but I seared it in a pan on the stove then cooked it on low in the crockpot overnight. 80 mins per pound. I always keep the juice separate and add a little when reheating it in a pot on the stove. So good.

For once, the title of a recipe is dead on. This WAS the best “darn” pulled pork from an instant pot I’ve ever had.

This was amazing. The pork was so tender and just melted apart when shredding, the flavor is great and this is going to be my new go to recipe when I want to make BBQ pork in the instant pot.

Was surprised at how tender it turned out👍

Came out pretty good. Next time I’d like to try and marinate the pork all night to get a little more flavor on the inside. I’ve made this exact recipe twice now and this time I doubled the seasonings which seemed to help a bit, but not enough for my liking. I added 3 tbsp of liquid smoke instead of the one. For me it’s a great base recipe, just needs some tweeting for my liking. The cook times are spot on. You’re not gonna find a more tender piece of pork!

Very good! I chose not even to use any BBQ sauce since it was so tender and juicy naturally. Put it on a slider with some white cheddar.

Delicious and flavorful. Might want to leave the rub on overnight. Would add a little more liquid smoke if you like it more smoky flavored.
