I WOULD try this recipe again, but I'd use a MagicBullet to blend the blackberries and strain them. OR I'd use blueberries instead so I didn't have to worry about the seeds. I'm glad I upped the salt to 1 tsp because the flavor and sweetness were spot-on. The color ended up way more purple my first attempt. And these were way too bumpy and seedy. But these are fixable with some kitchen improv the next time around.
