Best cornbread I have ever made. Very rich, buttery and moist. We love it fresh with chilli, but it also freezes well.

First time making cornbread. It turned out delicious! Not too sweet, which is good. I also added a handful of raisins and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. 25 minutes in the oven was enough. Keep an eye on it, or it will easily get scorched.

Very moist and buttery! I added some canned corn and an 1/8 cup hemp seeds and it made a delicious variation on the basic recipe.

Great recipe! Turned out perfect, not to sweet nor to bland. Very moist with a crispy crustZ no modifications made.

family enjoyed but hubby likes his sweeter. turned down heat to 400 when i put it in so buttermilk wouldn't burn. will make again with modifications (more sugar and not as hot to bake).

This is an excellent recipe. It turned out moist and fluffy, almost as good as my Grandmother’s. The only thing I did differently was to use a stick of butter divided instead of 6 tablespoons. I will definitely use this recipe again.
