- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded, about 2 small chicken breasts)
- 1 batch Alfredo sauce (see below)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (I used 2% low fat)
- shredded Parmesan cheese (optional)
- fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup low fat milk (I used 1%)
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly-)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper

I lowered the amount of pasta to 8oz and used smoked sausage instead of chicken. With the sauce, I added a couple shakes of cayenne pepper and Italian seasoning. I think I could have used less salt in the sauce, because of the saltiness of the cheese. Also, while cooking the pasta in the oven, I covered the pan for the first 20 minutes and uncovered it for the last 5 or 6 minutes. Lastly, I sprinkled parsley at the end. My entire family loved it!

Yes I would make it again. The family really enjoyed it and it was quite simple to make. Even the Alfredo sauce recipe was a keeper to use in other recipes .

It was very flavorful but needed more sauce, was dry. Had to add more cheese. The baked chicken was very moist which I shredded, would definitely use it for other recipes. I added broccoli and it went very well with the pasta.

I used 2 jars of Alfredo sauce from the store,it came out pretty good.

Delicious! I used leftover chicken, doctored up a jar of alfredo sauce, and added a handful of frozen spinach. The entire family LOVED it. Rich, decadent, and oh so yummy! Great recipe!!!

This was a great dish and fairly easy to make! My family really enjoyed! I did not double the Sauce of the recipe but I did add a little more mozzarella cheese when I put the dish together and 2 more cloves of garlic when making the sauce. I added a sprinkle of the parmesan over the top when it was finished cooking. I cooked my chicken breasts in the skillet and lightly seasoned with salt and pepper till browned. I also used a smaller baking dish, an 8x11 and it worked perfectly! The 9x13 seemed too big for the amount of pasta going in. We loved it and I will definitely be making this again real soon!! It is now one of our favorite pasta bakes!!

Really easy to make- I made the Alfredo sauce instead of using store bought. It came together quickly and easily. Definitely recommend doubling the sauce recipe.

I made this tonight and my 11 year old immediately asked me "Can we have this again?" It was pretty heavy, and not at all as healthy as I would like, but delicious!

This was absolutely delicious, i enjoyed every bite.
My only notes for future self is just based off of personal preference; 3 1/2 cloves minced garlic, but should honestly try garlic piwder instead. the minced garlic added a weird texture to the sauce in my opinion.
I seasoned my chicken in a bag full of olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Then I made the sauce after adding a bit more oil to the pan from cooking the chicken before to add the carmalized bitd into the sauce.
after the sauce was finished, I put the chicken back in my skillet and added the pasta and parmesan, mixed it together, put more parmesan on top and threw the whole thing into the oven.
