- 1 dash cayenne pepper (doesn't add heat, but adds flavor - add more or less as desired)
- 29 oz. chicken broth (each cans)
- 1 cup half and half (I used fat free)
- 4 cups chicken (cooked shredded, or turkey!)
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms (sliced)
- 4 oz. diced pimentos (drained)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

This is a nice and easy recipe.
Next time I will add some diced onion and celery. I will definitely make this again

We loved this one! It needed a little seasoning and I added cheese to the sauce as someone recommended, but we would eat this again. It makes a ton of food!

Very good. Doubled recipe for a crowd. Not sure if i left it in oven too long? Or wasn’t enough sauce? Dried it out a little… but everyone liked it. Definitely will make again

I made this tonight with the modifications from Franny Leon and instead of using half and half I used heavy whipping Cream t came out great. I will make again.

My modifications...AMAZING!!! This was the best base recipe compared to others on Yumly. Truly, I'm worried I will want to make this too often! My edits: used fettuccini, 1/4 tsp cayenne, 32 oz chicken broth, 1.5 cups diced baby bellas, 1 cup shredded parmesan (divided, add half to cream sauce), 1 cup mozzarella/provolone shreds (divided, add half to cream sauce), 1/2 tsp Herbs de Provence, 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion, 1/2 cup diced celery, 1/2 cup frozen sweet peas. NOTE: I sauteed/sweat the onions, mushrooms and celery in olive oil until just translucent. I divided it into two foil pans, cooked one and froze the other. Great neighbor gift!
