This was a delicious recipe! The chicken was moist and flavorful. I make my own breadcrumbs from left over garlic bread and keep them in the freezer, so I used those. Have made it twice already. Huge hit!

Delicious! It was certainly more labor-intensive than anticipated (lots of dirty dishes and splattered counters)! So maybe expect it to take a little longer your first time around. I doubled the recipe for our family of five (yielded 3 leftover portions). I didn’t have enough fresh tomatoes so I used a 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes (in tomato purée) in addition to 1 lb of fresh tomatoes. Used more garlic than indicated and added some fresh basil leaves and oregano before pureeing the sauce. Served over farfalle pasta with broccolini. There was a perfect amount of sauce remaining to serve on the pasta (for the sauce lovers among us). A touch tedious and messy but wonderful flavor profile...yum!
