Amazing! I have made this recipe with home made crust and with store bought if you can make your own crust I recomend it however, you can’t go wrong either way

Delish!!! Husband approved, Apple pie is his favorite! I added extra cinnamon because we like it that way. Turned out great!

Great recipe, If there is too much liquid you can precook the filling for 5-10 minutes (don't cook until the apples are completely done or it will be mush by the time you take it out of the oven) before putting them into the pie. You can decide on how much liquid you want to add back or cook the liquid a bit more so it's thicker.

Served it at a family reunion using the apples from our tree. Rave reviews and everyone wants it again! I left it for a couple days in the fridge and dumped a LOT of liquid. I hate soupy pies, so this was amazing.

I loved all the filling because I didn't need so much sugar and the lemon really gave this recipe it the punch. I just need help with the crust because I might have over mixed the dough putting the salt and sugar too late in the mixer. I look forward to my second try.

Flavor was amazing but we ended up with about a cup of liquid inside the crust once we baked the pie which made it kind of fall apart. Wasn't really the thick, gooey consistency we were hoping for. Any ideas on how to fix that?

i added pumpkin pie spice to the filling mixture and it gave it that extra flavor
