I ran out of creole seasoning so I used Old Bay instead w/ black garlic hot sauce. Very good, I think this will replace my old jambalaya recipe. I did not peel my shrimp prior too cooking as I enjoy the fresh taste of the shrimp.

I made it both with shrimp and chicken and chicken and sausage. It was the best we've tried so far. My wife said to delete the other recipes we tried and only keep this one so, I consider that a plus.

Great! Substituted the chicken with squid because I have a lot to get rid of (put it in with the rice, pretty tender but a few fewer minutes would have been better). The seasoning was great and real spicy after I doubled the cayenne pepper.
Sh*t was bomb yo.
Please send help, my mouth hurts so good.
