Excellent! Doubled the recipe to freeze. Very hearty and satisfying

Delicious! I added more kale and loved it.

Simply delicious! I used half and half instead of coconut milk. My family doesn’t like coconut. I added a Italian seasoning and onion powder. Will make this again.

Great! I added leftover rotisserie chicken and it was delicious!

I also used regular potatoes. It was amazing, super creamy and comforting, side note, taste the soup prior to the last step, the coconut milk makes it creamy and delightful but it was also really good prior to that step if you want a more light broth soup

Really delicious and uncomplicated. I used basic potatoes, salt/pepper, spinach, and coconut milk. I did use a wild rice blend and the color wasn't as pretty yellow as the picture shows but still so yummy 😋

So good! Made it with whole cow milk instead of coconut milk and swapped out the old bay with celery salt and paprika to cut out the spice

Delicious. Will definitely be on rotation in our house. I used regular potatoes as I’m not a fan of sweet potatoes and baby spinach instead of kale.

I didn't have Old Bay seasoning (not easy to get hold of in the UK) so I substituted a smaller amount of Five Spice, think that was a mistake as the flavour became very distinctive. Didn't have wild rice so used a wild mix but everything else I followed. Not sure if I'd make it again but was very warming and filling so might try a different spice blend.

I followed the recipe exactly and it was just not for me. Way too sweet for a soup in my opinion. Definitely won’t make again.

Love this soup! a bit spicy so maybe not as much garlic and old bay, and it definitely needed to cook for 3hr on high (crockpot) bc of the sweet potato and yellow potatoes i tossed in. i also added some corn starch to thicken. so good!!!

Totally perfect look & taste for fall, it really looks beautiful! I used 1/2 & 1/2 instead of coconut milk, spinach, and only a teaspoon of the Old Bay since I was making a pot for my elderly parents who don't like spice. We added another 2 tsp. to our own pot and it's perfect. They wanted the recipe!

I didn’t do the kale, and didn’t feel the carrots were really necessary either but kept them. I added thyme, 2 bouillon cubes and a tiny bit of curry powder and it was delicious! Great versatile recipe. You can really customize it to your taste and it’s always delicious!

Added a little shredded Parmigiano but was delicious!

Tasty! Perfect for fall

This is my absolute favorite soup recipe. There's not a thing I would change. My husband and I made a pumpkin bread to go with it, and I recommend it 1000%

Mine was not very salty, but I liked it because I could taste all the vegetables. I love the kale in it, makes it look pretty too.

Great!
Will make it again! My son did not like the coconut flavor so I may try it with cream instead. The other four family members loved it. We live in Maryland so old bay has always been a staple in our spice cabinet!

A hit! Used spinach instead of kale and chicken broth, not veggie broth.

Fantastic! Used spinach instead of kale. Best soup recipe I’ve found in awhile!

Nice tasty recipe with some adjustments: I used a rice mix of long grain white rice & wild rice, and only used 3/4 cup of rice. I used heavy 1/3 cup of 35% heavy cream at the very end. For seasoning (I didn't have any Old Bay seasoning) I used: 1 bay leaf, 1/2 teaspoon of thyme, some Italian seasoning (added to the mushrooms, which I sautéed first before adding all the vegetables) Plus some Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco for a little kick. It was ready in 20 mins after simmering in low heat.

Excellent, even without the Old Bay, I had to make my own spice blend, it was delicious. I used coconut milk since I had it.

Added more bay leaves but other than that amazing! Second time making it.

Wonderful soup for a cold winter day. Used the coconut milk and substituted Sicilian herbs for the old bay seasoning. Added garlic salt and pepper at the end. Company worthy!

Very tasty, and easy to make

This soup is exactly what I was looking for! I cooked it on the stove, used chicken bone broth, and poached chicken breasts while the veggies and wild rice were cooking. I will definitely make this again!!

It was so good and perfect for the fall. I used what I had in the house already, so jasmine rice and half and half. My husband likes his soup thick so I added a 1/4 cup flour to veggies while scattering and a little extra veggie broth.

This was so frickin good. House favorite, will make again. Went heavy on the veggies but it wasn't really needed.

When I make it next I will use wild rice and a lot more spice but this is a good soup & I like how easy the author made it to follow the recipe.

Everyone loved it, we added more veg and also chicken. We used quinoa instead of rice and just served it separately, we used around 400ml of the stock water in the quinoa which would have been used in the soup. We also added the sweet potato in about 10 mins before the end as it falls apart
