  • 2/3 cup quick cooking grits
  • 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 4 oz. sharp white cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 1 tsp. kosher salt (or more to taste)
  • 1 pinch white pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper (diced)
