I added onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and more salt to the flour. I also brined the chicken tenders for about 20 minutes, then rinsed and patted dry. Took about 5-6 minutes total in a deep fryer and it was absolutely delicious! I have never let the chicken sit like that before frying and I really think it helped!

My first time making fried chicken of any type and this turned out so well! I did notice that the first batch was the best batch, but I’m not sure if that’s because of the oil being “cleaner” or because I had the cook time down better for it. Either way, I’m excited to make more chicken tenders!!! Can’t wait to spice it up now that I know the basics!! :)

Fantastic! But didn’t take as long as directions… I did 4 minutes per side and they were perfect!

Good recipe. Will make again

This is a good base/starter recipe. I added garlic, onion powder and cayenne and used seasoned salt. I also used a deep fryer at 350 degrees

I got this right! Do not cook chic tenders at 365 oil fir 8-10 mins per side! That would be a disaster. 5 mins total at 350 was perfect.
Now seasoning, if you follow this recipe you’ll have bland chicken. You have to go bolder in the flour dredge. Used 2 table spoons seasoned salt, tbl spoon of garlic powder, onion powder and chili powder each in the flour. Also added cornstarch, the result was crunchy tasty heaven!
Ate with basmati rice, corn and a salad.
I would come up with some kind of sauce or dipping sauce to go with...you’re favorite? Hmm, so many choices...

Turned out really good. Reminded me of restaurant quality chicken. I added more spices to the flour to add more flavor than just salt and pepper.

So easy! And it was actually quite tasty. I ended up making chicken nuggets but it was still perfect. I actually made the recipe for one serving, but I still used a whole egg, because I wasn't about to waste 3/4 an egg. Haha. I paired this with mashed potatoes and gravy!

I fixed this tonight for dinner. My husband ate two plates of it ! Turned out so juicy and crispy. I used my iron skillet and also made cornbread using a iron skillet.
I used season salt instead of just salt . I definitely will be preparing this again soon!
