Easy and flavorful recipe. I used brown rice (had on hand) it was fine.

Delicious!! I used hot Italian sausage since that's what I had on hand. I also added one jalapeño pepper for added heat. I cooked the rice in the crock pot and used thawed, precooked shrimp, adding them for the last 15-20 mns of cooking (I cooked using the high setting)

Multiplied everything by 6, and also used a combination of yellow, green and red onion (so used more than called for - but I love onion!). It turned out delicious!! I loved the tip about using the juice/broth once the slow cooker was done to cook the rice, mmm-mmm!!

This was a big hit. I substituted bratwurst for the sausage, since my family doesn't love spicy food. Also used old bay instead of Cajun seasoning. Was very tasty and very easy. Thanks!
