Delicious! Meat was tender and very good flavor. Comfort food at its best !

Delicious! It has a very good, rich favor. The only thing we did differently was that we put two cloves of garlic instead of one.

This is a great base recipe. I added some of my favorite ingredients, used a Dutch oven, and used a very good wine and it came out perfect!

Delicious!! Doubled the recipe due to having nearly 4 pounds of stew meat and 6 adults eating. I started in a large pot on the stovetop, following the recipe. But when time to let cook, I transferred into a large roasting pan and covered tightly with foil. I set my oven to 275 and let roast for about 3.5 hours. Then added the potatoes, carrots and mushrooms and let cook for another hour and a half or more (based on my day, not the meat or veggies needing longer). The meat was so tender, the flavors were rich and complex and all worked so well together. I am making it again today (a month later) but forgot I used stew meat the last time. Trying it with chuck. Will see how it goes!

Loved it!! I made this soup for my family and they all loved it! From the 8year old to the 83year old. I will make many more times!

Soooo delicious! I used more wine and all the spices plus 2 1/2 lbs meat, 1 onion and small Yukon gold potatoes. With some warm buttered, crusty bread…so good!

Came out delicious. Didnt use bacon - stew was hearty and enough for 4 people with 2 meals leftover.

Wouldn’t change a thing, used very little meat but lots of carrots/ onions & celery from the garden. Flavor was great.

Ahmazing! The vegetables came out perfect not mushy not undercooked. My husband said it is better than the one we normally buy at Costco and we like that one a lot! Try this it’s super easy. Make sure you coat the beef in flour before browning definitely worth that extra step

I used everything in the recipe minus the bacon. Cooked it all in the crockpot for 4 1/2 hours on low and it turned out great! Beef was fork-tender and the vegetables were just right, not overdone. The flavor was so good. This is a keeper!

Deeeee-licious!! I did end up putting it in the crockpot for the afternoon due to schedule constraints. Very complex flavors.
