I made this recipe for my husband who requires egg-free and dairy-free meals. I used this recipe as a base and added pumpkin puree, pumpkin spices, 2 tbsp. of unsweetened apple sauce, non-dairy powder creamer and substituted sugar for brown sugar (1/2 cup). He loved them! Definitely will make them again.

Two stars for a vehicle for transporting toppings. Cooked nicely, but was very bland. I will keep looking for a tasty - er option.

Not my favorite. I used a mixture of all purpose and whole wheat flours, and added unsweetened almond milk, cinnamon, and a splash of vanilla. Probably won't use this recipe again.

These were amazing. Mom took a taste and asked me if I was sure they were vegan. Will be sharing this recipe with my friend who has dairy allergies.

I am not vegan but was out of milk when I tried them for the first time and my husband, kids, and myself loved them and it was the first homemade waffle I ever did

My kids loved them but I did do mine a little different. I used self-rising flour and added 1 egg as well as using just 2 cups of water like the other reviews had said. Since school will be starting soon I will be making a big batch of these to freeze!

Love this recipe. Works a treat. I use 50/50 all purpose and self-raising and also swap out half the water fir milk. Add vanilla 1tsp and pumpkin spice mix. Yum!! Thanks for a recipe I can use as a base!
