Have made these several times now using a standard electric oven and the Test Kitchen Method 2 listed at the end of the recipe. Came out perfectly. In order to get seasoning on, you do need to add it directly onto the chicken right before coating it in baking powder. Frank's Red Hot and butter make the best buffalo sauce! If you're cooking on a cooling rack you really have to spray it with Pam or oil, because the chicken will definitely stick.

Made this twice now. Once for my kiddies and another time as a pot lock at a party. Just separated washed and towel dried wings in one bag, and the mix in another. Went to their house spent less then five minutes in the kitchen and by the time the wings came out it really brought the crowds. They were gone in a blink. modification of adding a half a teaspoon of salt (didn’t dry out the wings too much) another 2 tablespoon of floor and quite of bit of garlic and sweet paprika powder so the people that didn’t want the hot wings sauce could just eat them without. the wing sauce was chipotle tobasco with honey and a little bit of salt since the wings were already slightly salted. End result, best wings I’ve had in a long long time. I heard quite a lot of ummms when the wings hit the table. This is staying in my go tos recipe list for parties from now on.

These are so good! Added 1teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder and 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika. Everyone really loves these and I serve them with sauces on the side so they can choose.

Best homemade wings I’ve ever made. Followed directions exactly and couldn’t be more proud of the results. Only thing I did different was use my homemade chicken rub after patting dry and before baking powder. Other than they were delicious.

These were definitely crispy wings, but I had trouble getting the same results without a convection oven. I ended up having to cook them longer to get them crisp, which ended up drying them out.

I added a dry rub along with the baking powder. Crispy good on the outside and tender on the inside.
This beats what I did on the grill even using baking powder. Same recipe but the convection oven and a mesh-like rack made all the difference.

Turned out as advertised. I left the salt out and sauced it with a 1/4 cup of Nandos Peri Peri Hot sauce after the rest period. Awesome!

These turned out really crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I tossed the cooked wings in a honey garlic sauce and we ate the whole batch standing over the kitchen sink to catch all the syrupy drips! Really great recipe and technique.

I thought it was pretty easy to make. I might tweak the recipe and a few more spices with the baking powder. otherwise it was crispy and tasty as advertised

Really really good we made a hot sauce and a Bbq sauce. Really crispy. We don’t have a regular oven so we cooked it for another 40mins like suggested and came out great
