Calling this French onion is gracious. It’s a ‘homemade’ hamburger helper which I should have recognized from the directions.

Turned out good, just needed a little more bulk, like some mushrooms or peas or something. The flavor was there though.

I added an extra can of cream of mushroom, and i didnt have french onion soup so i used an onion soup powder mixed with broth. Turned out ok but not creamy enough for my taste still.

Tastes like a hearty beef stroganoff with an extra kick of the onion soup that makes it perfect. I sautéed my beef with mushrooms and green beans to add veggies and make everything more rounded. With every recipe you need to taste as you go and add more garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper to your tastes.

Excellent! I mixed the ground beef and stuffed jumbo shells.

My husband and i loved this one. I did however changed the ground beef to Fajita steak. I also seasoned the meat befor cooking. It came out great.

Suprising! Not a fan of casseroles (especially the hamburger helper genre) but this had a complex flavor and not so much liquid that the noodles disintegrated.

It turned out better than I expected. The flavor was really good. I loved the way you could taste that underlying french onion flavor. Yum! My boyfriend and roommate both loved it. This will be on the menu again.

Didnt have French fried onions. After it baked I added asigo and parmesan cheese....broiled until melted. So yummy. Family loves it!!

it was very good, even a hit with my kids. i did substitute the fried onions for asiago cheese.
