I wanted soft cookies so I eliminated the white sugar and added a bit more butter. Absolutely delicious! I always cut the sugar in a cookie recipe because I find they are always so sweet you can’t even taste the difference between different flavours of cookies- all you taste is overwhelming sweet. I find when I cut the sugar back even by ⅓ (I usually cut sugar by half) it makes all the difference. You can eat the cookies without feeling sick after. Although, you can definitely eat a lot more cookies in one sitting because one or two don’t overwhelm your tastebuds until you can’t possibly eat another bite for sickly sweetness. These cookies turned out great!
