  • 1 1/2 cups cooked rice (choice, or more if desired, See notes for amount ratio)
  • 1 bay leaf (large, or 2 small bay leaves)
  • 1 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp. sweet paprika
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp. onion flakes (dried minced)
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme (dried crushed)
  • 1/4 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. dried dill weed

    Should have added more spice as it is a bit bland but overall good stuff.

    very good 👍 i added 4x the amount of every spice tho and used actual garlic cloves and tomatoes, and used a huge red onion all diced up instead of a medium onion and 2 diffrent types dry onion spice . also just used 4 cups of broth instead of broth and water! Suited my taste buds more with my modificstions!!!

    This is by far one of the best dishes I have made. So much flavor my taste buds were ‘gasm-ing. I added Beyond Sausage (Beer Brat or Hot Italian; they’re both great) to this dish. Sliced them up while they were still sort of frozen and tossed them in the pot at the same time as the vegetables. I also used Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic and Vegetable-Whatever-It’s-Called. Delish. Thanks for the recipe!

    This dish was easy to put together and quick to make. My omnivores enjoyed it, too. I made a simple cornbread to serve with it.

    good but my husband and i added tofurky and it wasnt as good as we thought it was going to be. but it is good as is. oh and we didnt do any of the actual onion, only onion powder because i dont like onions. and it was still good. had a little kick, but the kick was worth it.
