Very good with a lot of adjustments. Adjusted amounts to match enitre 6oz can of tomato paste (why waste 1/2 can of paste?)….basically roughly doubled or doubled plus some the ingredients. 4x onion, chopped, and fresh garlic, chopped. DO NOT cover and steam for 35 minutes. Vegetables will be just right and still colorful if just sautéed/cooked in uncovered pot. Stroganoff sauce adjustments: the tofu, tomato paste, water base is just fine, but requires Worcestshire Sauce (a basic stroganoff ingredient) along with the wine. All I had on hand was red cooking wine……added just the right acidity. Used extra firm tofu….just meant adding more of the liquids. Finally, only had smoked paprika…..worked fine. Season with salt and pepper. ENJOY!!!!

Delicious!! I added more green beans and doubled the "Stroganoff"... My son loved it!

I, an omnivore, chose to uprate the 3.5 star rating my 2 vegetarian friends wanted to give this recipe. I found a lot of flavor in this mushroom concoction. But... From my counterparts perspective... This is not a stroganoff. Both said you need a sour cream substitute to substantiate its title. This is a good vegan recipe: but not worthy of the stroganoff title. Flavorful; nonetheless.
