It was alot more work then I anticipated. I only doubledthe recipe, but I should have tripled it, as suggested by other reviews.I will make it again and triple the spices and see how it turns out.

Not bad. Needed more salt. I used a small Thai red pepper and next time will use 2. Not quite enough heat. Will double the chicken next time as it made a lot of sauce, or just use 1 cup broth.

Rich sauce with a good heat and great cardamom flavor.
My wife has an allium allergy so we donmt use garlic or onions. We’ve taken those two ingredients out of everything and we donmt miss them. At all!

Really good! Makes plenty of sauce, could have used a little more chicken. Needed a little more salt and I liked the suggestion of adding some brown sugar. Overall really tasty!

I’ve been making this recipe for a long time, never failes to wow me with flavor, always serve with basmati rice and garlic naan bead a must.

As with everyone else who reviewed this recipe, I added about twice the amount of dry ingredients as stated. My wife doesn’t like spicy foods, so I kept the chili powder the same amount. Next time I will cut out the chili powder altogether, triple up on the cardamom, and grind in the fresh cilantro with the rest of the sauce. Four stars because of the dry ingredient amounts are off.

We followed others advice and upped the spices a bit, it was delicious. We made Naan to go with it, which you should do too.

I increased the seasonings by about 50% and used red chili flakes instead of jalapeno - it was delicious. The need to increase the seasoning was the only reason I knocked a star off.
Best part of making this is your whole house smells incredible, like buttery garam masala. So good!

I added turmeric and cumin to the spices and increased the rest because I love a lot of flavor. Aside from the extra spices, I followed the recipe as written and the meal was a hit with my family. It was easy to cook.

Turned out amazing I don’t have a blender so couldn’t blend up the ingredients and I used tomato sauce bc I had no paste and it came out delicious I used some flour to thicken the sauce and it tasted equal to restaurant quality will definitely make again

I made it it did not it is not an Indian butter chicken but an Indian chicken curry. Delicious recipe I would just rename it that’s all.

Delicious! I didn’t have cardamom so I substituted with cinnamon and it was delicious all the same. Definitely will make again. My stovetop wasn’t very quick to heat back up (chicken broth was homemade and cold which probably brought the temp down) so I had to add extra time to the chicken to make sure it was cooked through. I made naan to pair with this from another Yummly recipe.

I added 1 tablespoon Kashmiri chili powder after the onions browned a little bit to give it a little kick.
