Very delicious! Easy to make and good flavors. I used chicken thighs instead of chicken breasts and it worked well. Can’t wait to eat left overs of this because it will be even more flavorful after a day.

This is where ease, flavor, quantity, cost, and efficiency find their happy harmony. I followed the recipe (with Trader Joe's Cuban style black beans being the only substitute). My non-soup eating husband loved it. Don't skip the cheese, avocado, and tortilla chips toppings. I truly just loved dumping everything in and curling up on the couch with my book until it was ready. Also, do yourself a favor and get yourself some bear claws for meat shredding. Makes quick and easy work of the shredding part. This is my new go-to tortilla soup recipe and the best part is... I can keep everything on hand in pantry/freezer.

Just increased the spices because we like high flavors. Other than that, a wonderful recipe. Good eats!

We love this recipe. To adapt to ingredients available where I am, kidney beans are used instead of black beans, mild salsa instead of enchilada sauce, and the diced chiles are sadly omitted. Still tastes great.

This is very good and easy to make! I put avocado, shredded cheddar cheese, and a few croutons as toppings and was very delicious. 5 stars!

Oh. My. Goodness. So very delicious... and easy to make! Shared on my Facebook feed in 2018 and saw it again in 2021 so I’m making it again today.

This was SO good! I was pleasantly surprised. We used lime, sour cream, jalapeño, a tiny bit of shredded cheddar cheese, tortilla strips and cilantro for the toppings. I got groceries too late for the instant pot, but it did just wonderful on the stovetop.
