- 4 cups long-grain white rice (I use uncle bens converted because it doesn't seem to get as sticky)
- 2 bay leaves
- salt (to taste)
- 2 tsp. cayenne
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
