I thought this looked like a fantastic chili base especially for my diabetes which requires carb control. I like it HOT, so I added more jalapeños, some habeñeros and a touch of reaper hot sauce I also added 48oz of mixed beans for the fiber content. In all everything came out to around 20g net carbs per serving, and freaking delicious.

We both love it. Chili doesn’t get any better than this!! Made it again in April and again June 4. It’s a “GoTo” in our family. My husband likes it a lot & helps me make it if he’s free.

Mine turned out a little hot, but I think that's because I eyeballed the chili powder and jalapenos. Really great chili!

So good! Easy recipe! My only complaint is there wasn't enough for my family of four to have seconds. However, we paired it with some thick ol' southern cornbread and it was filling enough. So many great flavors in one bowl. 10/10 will make again!

So soooo good! I added an extra jalepeno for more of a kick and it was delicious also did 2lbs ground beef so I added a can and a half of the canned tomato and a lil over 2 cups of broth - so perfect
