Well.... After 5 hrs in the crockpot (on low) I opened the lid to a soupy, mushy, meat that tasted kinda bland. I followed the recipe pretty much as listed and do not know where all that liquid came from. I drained all the liquid and boiled it until it was dark and thickened and put the meat in a pan to “brown it up” and give it more flavor. It’s better now but I won’t cook it in the crock pot again.

I've made this many times now and it's become a standard in my family's menu rotation. We mix it up a bit; my son prefers raw shredded cabbage instead of kimchi and I normally slice the meat and let it marinate overnight so I can just dump it in the crock pot before I leave for work, setting it on low for 7/8 hrs. Good stuff for a rice bowl too!

The flavors in this dish are fantastic. The steak was super tender. It was a nice switch up from traditional tacos/burritos with the varied flavor profile. Seriously, who doesn't love Yum Yum sauce?!?! Keep this one in your rotation, even the kids will love it.

Not quite sure about the recipe name;however, this dish is delicious. Great levels of flavor and difficult to resist a second helping. Loved it and is on my favorites list. Don't be afraid to add lime zest and juice before serving. yummly!
