- 1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
- 4 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 4 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 4 Tbsp. fresh ginger (minced)
- 1 head garlic (peeled and minced)
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 5 lb. beef short ribs (aka English Cut)
- 2 stalks green onions (sliced thin for garnish, optional)
- 1/2 tsp. white sesame seeds (for garnish, optional)

I added a pear for marinating. I made this in the oven once, and on the grilled it once while basting a few times during each method. Both times came out crusty on the outside, super tender on the inside, and 100% DELICIOUS! Thank you so much!

i made it in the oven. good but chewy. ill do the crock pot next time
