someone had given us a bag of fresh plums, and this was the perfect way to use them! turned out great, made the recipe without any changes.

Awesome! I make it with Plums and also make it with donut peaches. Oh my, the donut peaches are so sweet, it’s like heaven! The cake batter itself is simply the best. Make it what you want, even without the fruit. The cake recipe alone is killer- make into a coffe cake with cinnamon, etc.

It was a perfect combination and everybody enjoyed it. Actually I added about 5 spoons less sugar but the rest stayed the same and I found it proper sweet.

Delicious! My my oven may be a bit fast, so I only needed to bake it for about 40 minutes, even less.
