Yummy and light! Added a bit of lemon emulsion to intensify the flavor. I topped with plain cream cheese frosting. Cake isn’t too sweet so the frosting balanced it perfectly.

They turned out really good! I followed the exact recipe except for the frosting I reduced the amount of butter and sugar a little bit but kept the lemon the same the frosting turned out a bit more zingy and acidic but over the cupcakes were amazing they were light and fluffy and I’m glad I tried this recipe definitely will make again but with little less lemon in the frosting ☺️☺️

I followed the recipe and added three drops of lemon essential oil, but, even then, the cupcakes barely had a hint of lemon flavor. That said, I will definitely make them, again, with my own adjustments.
