I used a cast iron pan- it was quite good

Very moist and delicious and super easy. I only made a couple of variations. Skip the brining unless using chicken breasts. Use low sodium soy sauce to reduce the sodium. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and a bit of garlic powder. For the sauce use fresh garlic, the flavor of the fresh garlic is well worth the few minutes it takes to mince several (I used 6) cloves. Add the zest of 1 lemon. Next time I'll transfer the chicken to a tray and spoon some of the sauce over it and broil for the final 10 minutes to get the skin crispy

This recipe turned out great!! I will make it often it’s full of flavor and very easy to make.
