The directions were not very clear. I think next time I might take the onions out with the tomatoes.

It was pretty good even though I didn't follow the directions exactly.
first, I used boneless skinless chicken breast and cut the olive oil in half- don't do that. I ended up adding the rest but since i had to add it half way through it lost all that early flavor.
Second, I used garlic- ginger paste instead of adding the onion. Don't do that either. I don't regret the gg paste but i shouldn't have omitted the onion.
third, I added castlevetrano and kalamata olives. That was good but you have to account for the extra salt and acidity. I cut the lemon in half and it was still a bit more sour and salty than I like.
Despite my best efforts to mess this up it still turned out good.
tl;dr
you can add things but dont leave things out. theres no room to omit ingredients and if you add olives remember your salt.

easy, flavorful, added manzanilla olives, used chicken pieces and finished it off in the oven!!! delicious!!!!!!!
