- 7 cups reduced sodium chicken stock (depending on how thick you like your soup)
- 1 tsp. salt (& lots of freshly ground black pepper, both approximate, season to taste – don’t be afraid to season liberally)
- parsley (garnish with finely minced, optional)

A warm, soothing starter course. I used the low end of the broth range for a thicker soup. I also added a half teaspoon of curry powder and a quarter teaspoon of allspice, both of which I'd do again.

Tasty, could be slightly sweeter but so nourishing and yummy.

Very good an easy recipe, I did add one carrot to it, it was very delicious and filling
