It tasted really good but the texture was kind of off to me. I'm not sure if it's the bread pudding or maybe it's just me.

I was skeptical, since it wasn't going to sit overnight, but it worked great! I used 400ml Eggnog and 100 ml Milk, I only had Sourdough Bread, from which I cut off most of the crust, and sliced & diced it. I sprinkled the top with Cinnamon Sugar. And let it sit for like 1hr, since I was waiting on the rest of the Family to be up for Brunch. It turned out amazing! It took about 50 min to bake, but I also kept it covered for ca. 20 min & recovered it for the last 10ish min. Everyone loved it!

Like others said, it took longer than 40 minutes and top layer started to burn while under was still soggy. We had to toss it. Smelled great and fluffed up nice in the oven. Wondering if longer cook time at lower temp would have been better.

took much longer than 40 minutes. i found it to be awesome on the top layer but quite soggy on bottom. Next time i try this, I will be using a bigger pan so the bread is only one layer thick.

Delicious... however takes longer than 40 minutes to fully cook. Minimum hour and a half

Super fast to throw together, and I had everything on hand. It did take the entire 40 minutes to cook, and wasn’t as “set up” as I’d have liked it, but tasted delicious and was a crowd pleaser! Will make it again.
