140 degrees?! It ruined the meat. How is that correct? Most other receipts cite 125-130 degrees for roast beef. It came out brown and overcooked.

Fantastic flavor and absolutely delicious! Used garlic powder, seasoning salt, lemon pepper and Montreal steak spice. Also added a little beef broth while roasting.😉 Baked at 425 for 20min. My family prefers it more on the medium side. Make sure to take the time and pan sear the beef....it makes all the difference in the world!!!😋

Unbelievably tender and delicious! I skipped the lemon pepper but followed the advice of taking the meat out at 140 degrees. The searing is worth the mess on the stove!

The most delicious Roasted Beef Tenderloin I've had, and so easy to prepare. There's no need to modify the recipe at all;
I've made it four times, and it's turned out perfect every time.
