- 1 lb. tilapia (fresh, 3-4 fillets per lb.)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. salted butter (softened)
- 1 clove garlic (minced, optional)
- 1 lemon (large, cut in half)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Season the tilapia fillets on both sides with the salt and pepper and arrange on the baking sheet. Drop softened butter by 1/4-inch pieces over the fillets and sprinkle evenly with the minced garlic, if using.

Have made this a couple times. Took out the salt and pepper and used Johnny’s seasoning salt. Great recipe.
