  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1/2 green bell pepper

  • 14 oz. chopped tomatoes (400 g)
  • 2 Tbsp. tamari soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne
  • 1 cup rice (uncooked, 200 g, we used short grain white rice)
  • 3 cups water (or vegetable broth, 750 ml)
  • 2 Tbsp. tahini (optional)

    Excellent, filling and tasty. Simple to make, just keep an eye on the absorption of the veg broth/water as it evaporated very quickly. I used 4 cups in the end.
