Really tasty the pork slow cooked then crisped up tastes so much better than any way I’ve cooked it before and the sauce was yummy.

Magnificent! Cheap as chips with a bit of pork belly. Works well in oven or a slow cooker, easy and so flavoursome.

Really lovely.
Very tender and sweetly sticky.
How to make a cheap cut of meat into something special
Will definitely be making these again!!!

It was yummy! I did add extra spices in the glaze. As I never follow recipes to a T.

Fantastic this is my 4th time on this recipe and gets better each time.

I looked at others reviews before making this and reduced the sweetness a little. Also used my slow cooker on medium for 5 hours and it was delicious. The pork remained juicy and sweet. Will definitely make again.

Great, followed it exactly!!!

Love this recipe! I’ve made it countless times since finding it I did modify the slow cooker time to one hour on low, then one hour on high

Loved it. Even spread over 24 hours and finished over BBQ gas heat.

Very sweet but very nice.
I cooked the pork in the slowcooker for 7 hours instead but it gave the same results.
I made the glaze at the same time I pit thr meat in the slow cooker and just left it all until the evening.
All i had to do when we wanted dinner was take thr pork out of the slowcooker, fry the meat a bit and and put on the glaze for 5mins while in the pan. While the glaze was on I did micro rice. Easy no fuss in the evening I like!
It might be too sweet for some so I'd suggest maybe turning this into something like duck pancakes with cucumber and spring onions. 🤔 Or steamed buns.

very tasty way of cooking belly pork, really simple to cook I found the addition of a sprinkle of fresh toasted sesame seeds just liift it , beautiful with brown basmati

Turned out brilliant whole family loved it! I left out lemon grass though as we don’t like that!

the best pork belly recipe ever!

Skipped the spicy, since we wanted something sweet. It turned out really good. I had to change pork belly for loin, since belly was nowhere to be found in my area. That made it a little dry. I would stick to belly if you can find it.

Yummly User 5 years ago
Very nice in taste but just a tiny dry?? Don’t know why?

Yummly User 5 years ago
was a hit. no modifications

Sooo tasty. I didn’t have some of the ingredients but it still tasted unreal.

Devine! I slow cooked for two hours first.

I have made this dish so many times missing out an ingredient that I couldn't get my hands on here or there. Made it this evening with everything included (might have gone to 2 supermarkets just to get it all 😂) and it was incredible, the best one i've made yet!

Tasted amazing
BUT it does not take 65 minutes!! You need to slow cook the pork first for 2 hours minimum!
