It turned out delicious, however I did not use the oven. I seared the chicken in a pan with some olive oil on both sides. Then removed the chicken and added all the sauce ingredients. i didnt like how thin the sauce was so i added some cornstarch to thicken it up, added the chicken to the sauce and simmered. Served with jasmine rice and eggrolls.

Turned out great! This recipe is incredibly easy and fast. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was the sauce. It was ok, but there is something missing. I’ll try a little vinegar next time instead of lime juice

I really loved it! I had it with biscuits instead of rice but I will try it again! I used a crock pot version highly recommend!

I really impressed myself following this recipe. I don’t do a lot of cooking and had little experience crisping chicken skin. This recipe was easy to follow. I added Chinese Five-Spice seasoning, but over did it. I’ll remember that for the next time. I do intend on using this recipe again.

Turned out good, sauce is a little too liquidy. For the additional 5 minutes for it to cook after basting the chicken I drizzled honey on top of the chicken after 3 mins and then put back in the oven for another 5. Got it the sticky effect out not the semi crisp of the skin. Maybe needs a little longer for that effect. But delicious

Sauce is delicious 😋 I cooked the chicken thighs in the air fryer for 16 mins at 380° baised mid-way and at the end then cooked for another 3 mins.

Tasty sauce indeed. Made a few modifications. I substituted chicken broth instead of water. I cut up the chicken and baked some mushrooms, onion, and broccoli in some of the sauce and mixed it all in at the end. baked the chicken longer and basted more often to really get a nice flavor to the chicken. I will make the sauce ahead of time next time and marinade the chicken overnight in it to let the flavors sink in.

It was okay. I followed the directions exactly except cut the ginger a bit because I like ginger, but don’t love it. I was hoping the sauce would be a thicker, sticky sauce, but it’s not, it’s watery and doesn’t thicken after being in the oven five minutes at the end. Also, I feel like the picture is not accurate, the chicken in the picture looks like it was seared beforehand, mine didn’t look like that, it just looked oven baked, because it was. I won’t make it again.

This was good. You can control the level of spice with amount of sriracha you use. Only thing was all of the sauce was on the skin and not the meat. Good with baked potato and corn on the cob.

We've made this several times over the last few weeks and absolutely love it. To save a little time we use "pureed ginger" and "squeeze garlic". Don't judge me! We enjoy it over basmati rice with sugar snap peas. I started doubling the sauce so we had extra to add to the rice. Tonight I made about a quart of it to separate and freeze for upcoming meals. I use it over pork medallions, chicken breasts, ribs... Simple but we love it!

Quite tasty. I have a convection oven, so baked 25 minutes at 400. Next time I would add another 5 minutes as the skin didn’t crisp up as much as I’d like. But it was good, easy, and I would make it again.

They turned out absolutely incredible! They were cooked perfectly, nice and juicy, and the sauce was beyond delicious. I licked the entire surface of my plate afterward! I will definitely be making this again!!
