These were amazing I added a dollop of strawberry whipped cream right before serving and they were so flaky and good…

Dough came too sticky! couldn't manage it and divide. will not be doing these again. Had to throw everything away 😓

These are the real deal—meaning, these are true scones, not the wedged-shaped pieces of muffin or cake many pass off as scones (especially in the U.S.) These scones are flavorful, flaky and beautiful—with a slightly dry yet tender texture, exactly as a scone should be. I replaced the orange with lemon and served the scones with a small dollop of lemon curd. (Clotted or whipped cream would also be excellent.)
