Thought it was pretty good. The amount this recipe produces is enough for 2 lbs of hamburger, maybe even 3? I split it in half for a pound of hamburger and used about 1/4 of water to mix, then let it simmer for about 8-10 minutes or till the mixture was fully absorbed.
I had cut the amount of salt in the recipe in half and still felt it was way too much (even my salt loving boyfriend felt the same), so I’ll probably cut it down to just 1 tsp of salt if even that much next time.
I didn’t have coriander, but added dried oregano and cilantro (about 1-2 tsp each) and that was quite tasty.
Lastly, I also don’t keep cornstarch on hand, but had ground flaxseed. I used a 1:1 ratio, and that seemed to work just fine as a substitute. You could probably add a little xanthan gum as a thickener, but it isn’t really necessary.
All in all, it’s a good mixture. I’d definitely make it again.
If you’re looking at value for your money over buying the ready made packets, this really isn’t the way to go since it almost knocks out an entire container of chili powder. However, if you don’t have any packets on hand, this works in a pinch.

Ok. But bland actually.

Good, but no info on how much to add per pound of ground beef.

Our go-to taco seasoning mix! No more packets in this house!

This was the perfect mix. I panicked when I didn't have a "packet" but I'll never use store bought ever again. Omitted cayenne, but plenty of flavor.
