Too soft. Kept returning it to the oven trying to dry up some of the moisture. I’d like to try it again, but would change it up a bit. Perhaps a tblsp of chia seeds would help? I also played up the spices, adding more nutritional yeast, tamari, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcester sauce, poultry seasoning. . . The flavor was amazing! Now to get the consistency just right.

I used black eyed peas (couldn’t get the cannellini ) and subbed Yves mince for the tofu as I’m not a lover of tofu. Turned out great! I made a veggie gravy by frying finely chopped onion, garlic and mushrooms then added veg broth and Bisto to thicken. Served with roast potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, parsnips and carrots and of course Brussels sprouts-perfect!

Came out VERY tofu tasting. Also, very soft although ( like many vegan meat subs) does firm up the next day. Just not as savory as I'd hope for

made it, along with suggested mushroom gravy this thanksgiving. not great. i feel that the tofu worsened the overall flavor (bland) and texture (unpleasant).
