We loved this! I did read the comments and took some advice. I used chicken tenderloins because they are cheaper. I poked holes in them with a fork. I added a little Jamaican jerk seasoning, a touch of cumin and I baked in the oven at 400 for 25 mins with the marinade poured on top and a cut up onion. Served with cilantro rice and Brussels

Made this last night. Turned out beautifully, though I didn’t use a grill. I used a cast iron grill pan. I made a sauce from the fruits, some soy, oyster sauce, tamari, and some brown sugar, reduced down. I served the chicken with cilantro and chili lime rice, and brown butter green beans.

Nice extra flavor in the chicken, and super easy. I’ll definitely make it again

I added cumin, more cilantro, squeezed and left the wedges from the lemon and marinated over night. I think these changes made it better than some of the reviews saying it was bland. The chicken was very juicy and flavorful I also injected some of the marinade into the chicken before grilling.

Marinated it for a few hours and don’t get any real flavor. Sad because I thought it had potential.

I made a few modifications because the recipe was so tart , bland and didn’t have much flavor after it was marinated, I made it into a salad with carrots ,radishes sweet tomatoes , and onions ,couscous and kale a little olive oil and Tajindon’t forget sweet onions , it was a hit with my husband and kiddos

It was pretty bland, will go back to other recipes that just had more prominent flavours

Tasted very bland and even marinated it longer than what it called for. Needs salt and pepper I think; however, won’t make again, very disappointed.

Very blah, won’t make again.

I agree with the other review it just tastes like sweet chicken to me i could hardly taste the citrus even when i added more.

Didn’t taste the citrus at all and overall just disappointed. Would have tasted better if I hadn’t marinated at all and just used lemon pepper

This recipe turned out better than I expected, but maybe a little sweet. I didn't have a bbq setting as it is November with snow on the ground. I baked it in the oven at 400 for 25 minutes with the marinade. I used the pan sauce over pasta.

This recipe is great

It turned out good! However, I had thick chicken breast so I feel like I didn’t get all the flavor I could have. Next time will make sure to use thinner chicken breasts.

My husband loves this but I changed it up based on our taste I made the marinade per recipe instructions rather than grill it, I browned the chicken in a skillet when browned I deglazed the skillet with a little wine and chicken broth when the deglazing liquid cooked down some I added a pat of butter to smooth it out

needs salt, charcoal hawaiian salt is perfect, but overall this is a fantastic dish. I put mine over seasoned wild rice and honey dripped around the plate.

To make it more "tropical", add a little allspice and/or crushed coriander into the citrus juices. A little cumin may also add a little depth of flavor as well.

The only suggestion I would have is to heat up the citrus mixture w/ honey for 1 1/2 min. to marry the flavors well to absorb into the meat.
