- 4 cups whole wheat noodles (cooked, macaroni was used in this recipe, egg noodles also will work)
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 small yellow onion (diced)
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms (white or button, wipe clean)
- 9 oz. solid white albacore tuna in water (shredded, add tuna and water)
- 1 cup frozen green peas
- 8 oz. cream cheese (softened, low fat)
- 1 cup low fat milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Turned out great! I didn’t have cream cheese so I used goat cheese and it worked well

Very good, loved the fresh mushrooms vs. a can of mushroom soup. that being said it's more expensive to make this way, but well worth it.

I forgot the milk, and I left out the mushrooms and did a mixed veggie medley instead. I added my own spices too. Next time, with milk, it should work well.

It came out a bit dry but I skipped the onions and used tune packed in oil (that's all I had). My toddlers loved it though!

Added fresh garlic, Trader Joe’s Umami seasoning, and asparagus instead of frozen peas. We didn’t have any left overs

Not good, I guess I was expecting more flavor. Should have tried one of the other recipes and not a low calorie one.

So my modifications included an extra can of tuna, thyme and black pepper. A little salt and by far the best tuna casserole ever!! Will make this again.

I would add another can or two of tuna as it was hard to find within the casserole. Also, some salt and pepper as a seasoning would help it. Will be making this again in the future.

Quick and easy to make
I made it on top of the stove in an iron skillet instead of baking it, added some dried red pepper crunches to it and it turned out great!

I added a little chilli to the mix to give it more umphh! It was delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed it and I would definitely make it again perhaps with a little grated sharp cheese on top.
