I added too much sugar (for my liking), but the overall flavour is surprisingly good!
Will halve the sugar next time… but I’ve noticed that it’s dissipated towards the end of the cook … so maybe wait.

I must have done something wrong. First I have never used jackfruit. Second since I didn't have access to fresh I used frozen jackfruit.

I loved this! Yum! Super easy, healthy and great! I will definitely make this again!

Quite good. Putting this over baked potatoes with vegan butter and some cheese. Steamed veggies side. Used four cans jackfruit and 1 tbsp turbinado sugar and 1 tbsp date syrup in place of the brown sugar. Key is to cook it down, 10-15 min at each step (the initial sautée and then after add bbq sauce).
