These were delicious! I unfortunately only had ground pork, so that’s what I used. I added 2 tablespoons of fish sauce not 3. I’m glad I only did 2 tablespoons because I thought it was still pretty salty.
The next day they tasted even better!!!

Easy to prepare and great flavours.

Excellent flavors, but very salty! I think the fish sauce is sufficient, and I will not be adding any salt the next time I make these.

I made the meatballs, they turned out fabulous. Awesome flavours!!
I also sautéed chopped asian cabbage, green onions and half and white onion in the same pan the meatballs where cooked in, with a little soya sauce . Once done, I combined sautéed cabbage and meatballs together. perfection! Muah!

The meatballs were great warm. Probably needed more sugar for browning.

These were great. Didn’t use a few things (mint, fish sauce) but the method was excellent and it made cooking these meatballs easier. Chicken is not an easy meat ball protein. This recipe makes it work and it’s really tasty.

Quite tasty. Served them in lettuce cups with tauge, mint, koriander, carrot julienne, ramiro pepper (zoete punt paprika) crusty bread on the side. Nice!

Unfortunately, they came out tough and rubbery

Very unique flavor. Couldn’t find ground chicken so we used ground turkey instead - worked fine. Would recommend using lemon grass essential oil instead of the pieces of the stalks (it ended up being very splintery with the fibrous texture of the stalks). Also, not sure if the sugar coating makes a big difference in the end, but the overall flavor was great.

Very good flavors. I did not have ground chicken so I used a combination of ground turkey, ground lamb and ground turkey sausage. It was great. I served cumin rice and garlic asparagus for a complete dinner.

Yum! I would definitely make again... Added to spicy Thai style soup with a big handful of bean sprouts and spring onions.

These things are incredible! And super affordable for those on lower budgets. Highly recommend them mixed into any white rice combo. Thinking about trying them with an egg stir fry next time around.
